Like each of you, we here at Nodaway County Abstract and Title Company are concerned about the Corona Virus Pandemic. Our foremost concern is for the safety and health of our employees, customers, our families, and the entire Nodaway County Community.
We are limiting public access to our office by appointment only until further notice.
We are trying to conduct as much business as we can over the phone and through email to limit interaction.
We have placed a drop box by the front door for anyone that needs to drop anything off that cannot be emailed to us.
During closings, we are practicing social distancing when possible and staying approximately six feet from others. We encourage guests to use hand sanitizer and/or wash hands upon arrival at our office. After each closing, the chairs, table and door handle will be wiped down with disinfecting wipes.
While we always appreciate Lenders and Realtors attending closings in our office, until further notice, we suggest not attending if possible, in order for us to practice social distancing.
In the event that the recorder’s office shuts down completely our Underwriters have provided us with guidelines on how to proceed with closings in this situation. We will have additional documents for the customers to execute at closing. As of now, the recorder’s office plans to continue to operate, however, they have locked the doors to the general public.
